There are 3 components to any Open Water Scuba course. Academic, Confined Water (pool), and Open Water Dives.
Often, courses are advertised at a significantly reduced price but do not include necessary components (ex. Open Water Dives, training materials, equipment rental and certification fees).
Once you have priced everything you will find Columbus Scuba's Open Water pricing to be comparatively inexpensive for a very comprehensive training.
Columbus Scuba has incorporated ALL of the necessary components, training materials, and certification fees to make budgeting less confusing to our potential students.
Columbus SCUBA complete Open Water course price includes:
• Confined Water Sessions and eLearning/Academic Sessions
• $300 if student schedules Check Out dives with another dive center (Planned vacation)
• 4 Open Water Dives
• $75 if student completes Confined Water and Academics with another dive center.

• Student Diver Kit and Books
• Submersible Dive Table

• Equipment rental (entire course)

We ask that all students purchase their own mask, fins and snorkels, as these are personal fitting items. This can be completed after the first class at any location you choose. Columbus Scuba offers significantly discounted student packages at our Columbus store. Your instructor will explain the benefits and features of the equipment you will need on the first day of class so there is no need to purchase equipment prior to class. This will help you make decisions about what you'll need and how much you should spend without going overboard.
