With over 12,000 certified divers in the Columbus area, Mid-Ohio Divers found it quite easy to find each other. The majority of club members were initially students of Independent SCUBA Instructor Andy Silverman. The club has now accumulated members from a myriad of dive schools, instructors, and training organizations. The club does not discriminate in any way shape or form. ALL are welcome, regardless of age, sex, religion, race, sexual preference, level of diving, experience, or other hobbies.

There is one common denominator... all members love the sport of diving! Our club meets the first Wednesday of each month. The Winking Lizard Tavern on Bethel Road has generously offered a room, which accommodates over 100 people. The room is very comfortable and has several big screen TVs and its own bar.  This is a great opportunity to meet other folks with similar interests, plan dive trips and events, or just kick back and relax, especially during winter months.

One of the most common reasons why sport divers drop out of diving is because they have no one to dive with. Well, here is an excellent opportunity to link up with people who dive regularly. Skill levels range from non-divers to Instructor-Trainer to Technical and Cave. If you enjoy diving you are sure to find someone here to dive with.
